The art of answering the phone is an important skill to have and one that is often underestimated. The person who answers the phone for your company is the first line of contact that a customer or prospective client has with your business. Therefore, it is vital to leave a strong, positive impression. As the saying goes, “first impressions are everything” so whilst good phone etiquette is not hard to master, it is also not something that should be ignored.
This week we are going to look at a sample phone call as well as a lot of phrases that are commonly used in phone conversations.
