Have you had to communicate with people from other countries in a business setting? What were the challenges? Which accent was the most challenging and why? Was it due to clarity, pronunciation, speed or vocabulary?
Part 2: Read the passage and choose the correct vocabulary
Discussion: Does accent-neutral communication actually exist? If so, what does it look or sound like?
Part 3: Listening practice
The recording is from four different people with four different accents reading the same story. Listen to them all and try to work out the story.
