A man recently chose to skip his niece's wedding in order to play a poker tournament in Las Vegas
Do you think this is acceptable behaviour?
The man said he had a good feeling about this particular tournament and then went on to win the whole thing, receiving $367,800 in the process. He said he could now buy his niece a better present!
Do you think in this case the end justified the means?
He did something perhaps morally questionable but can now give a better gift so the result was “good”.
