Topic: Meeting Skills -Client Meetings

Introduction:
Client meetings are key for communicating with clients, setting expectations and forming professional relationships. They allow you to pitch a topic or discuss other subjects with clients without having to wait for a reply to an email or call. Client meetings enable both you and the client to devote your attention to a shared goal.

Part 1: Defining a client meeting
There are four types of client meeting: proposal, check-in, introductory, consultation. Match each type to the definitions.

Part 2: Listening
In the following scenario, John (an app development company rep) is meeting Emma (a client). Listen and fill in the blanks. The blank sections are formulaic patterns that can be used in a variety of situations.

Part 3: Preparing for a client meeting
You are meeting with a prospective client for the first time. Start by introducing your company and its unique offerings. Share your relevant industry knowledge and highlight past successes to show your expertise. Aim to make a strong first impression and set the stage for future discussions.
