social accountability: The efforts that companies and individuals take to be responsible for its actions
stakeholders: a person, group, or organization that has an interest in a company and can either affect or be affected by the business (e.g. investors, employees, customers and suppliers)
ethically sourced goods: ensuring the products being sourced are obtained in a responsible and sustainable way, taking into consideration environmental and social impacts (e.g. ensuring workers involved in production are treated fairly)
philanthropy: the desire to promote the welfare of others, especially expressed by the generous donation of money to good causes
boost morale: an action or event that makes people feel more confident and cheerful
standards of ethical behavior (aka ethical standards): principles that promote values such as trust, good behavior, fairness, and/or kindness
sustainability: meeting the needs of the present generation without affecting the needs of the future generations (this concerns economic, environmental, and social aspects)
community (or service) welfare: assistance programs designed to ensure the wellbeing of a nation’s citizens
pioneer: to develop new ideas or methods
groundbreaking: to develop or discovering something new.
