This week we will cover how to introduce yourself and the company that you work for.
Part 1 – Greetings and introductions
Introducing yourself to people is important in all walks of life. We are all familiar with the phrase “Nice to meet you”, but there are other phrases that you can use, and there are some phrases for specific situations.
What introductions can you think of?
Part 2 – Jobs and job titles
Depending on the circumstances, people will state the company they work for and/or their position at their company.
Use some patterns to make your own examples.
Part 3 – Introducing coworkers
There are some common ways to introduce someone.
Write four examples introducing someone and their job title. Keep in mind the tone you would like to convey.
Part 4 – About the company
When greeting someone for business, it is sometimes important to include some information about the company you and/or your coworkers work for. You can talk about things like where the company is based, why the company was established, why people would know the company, etc.
