This week we are looking at useful English to describe business trips. These can be used at work with colleagues, at the airport, and can be used for giving important details about your trip or flight when you need to.
Part 1 – Business trips
There are some small, but common mistakes people make when explaining that they are going somewhere for work. For example: “I’m going to business trip” or “I’m going to trip to (country).”
Part 2 – Describing your trip
When you meet someone overseas, talk to colleagues, or go through immigration at an airport, it’s important to be able to give people the details of your trip. It’s important to be able to communicate this information clearly and concisely. How would you say in the in the provided situations?

Describe an upcoming business trip and flight to the class. Include the details of your flight, and share with the class.
