You might already know this, but since last year I've been in charge of (=担当) writing Introducing Japan (IJ) 中級.
It’s a fun class to write, even though it takes some time to research the information needed for it.
Recently, the class has had some information about a few famous bridges in Japan, such as the Naruto-Ohashi and the Shimanami-kaido.
It was interesting to read about bridge types and how they work!
Bridges also have a symbolic meaning; they signify (=象徴する) connection, exchange, and overcoming (=克服する) difficulties.
In this sense, English is like a bridge to other counties and cultures, isn’t it!
