Hi everyone!! Long time no.. post! Time really flies. I can't believe we're already halfway through the year! 😯
Some of you know that I really love riding my bicycle! I've grown even more fond of cycling ever since moving to Kyoto, and doing a cycling trip in Japan was always on my bucket list. A "bucket list" is a list of things you want to do in your lifetime.
Last year, I finally took the trip down to Shikoku to cycle the Shimanami Kaido! I started in Ehime and island-hopped up to Hiroshima over two days. It was challenging, but so invigorating!
Cycling the Shimanami Kaido was such a great experience, so last month, I decided to check off another item from my cycling bucket list: cycling around Lake Biwa.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating, and I couldn't cycle around the whole lake as originally planned. However, it worked out in the end because I didn't have to rush and was able to take my time, enjoying the sights along the east and west side of the lake. It was beautiful, and I'd definitely go cycling there again.
