Hi, everybody!
Long time no post!
It's been a busy time, but also pretty fun and eventful.
How was Halloween? Did you all get to say 'Trick or treat!' and get some chocolate at EB?
Here's a trivia:
Did you know that Halloween originated in Ireland? This Celtic event used to be called Samhain, and it was a harvest time festival that also kept people safe from evil spirits!
How?
Well, by dressing up like one of them and decorating the house with scary carved vegetables (usually turnips).
The spirits thought you are one of them and didn't attack you or your house.
The event became really big in America, and was brought back to Europe and other places, but with pumpkins instead of turnips (which are a New World vegetable - meaning they came from the American continent originally).
And now it's becoming big in Japan, too!
My country, Greece, still doesn't have any Big Halloween events - but we do have a Carnival at the end of winter called Apokries.
Try looking it up on Google!
