This week we are going to look at debating. Before debating, it is common to “brainstorm”. To “brainstorm” means to try to think of ideas, solutions to problems, etc. We are going to brainstorm ideas about “Made in Japan” and its importance both in Japan and overseas.
Brainstorm as many words or phrases as you can that describe or relate to “Made in Japan”.
Part1: Article
synonymous with (phrase): a word or phrase having the same meaning as another word or phrase.
household name (n.): a person or thing that is well known by the public.
dominate (v.): to have power, influence and control over someone or something.

Group A: … products made in Japan will be more successful than products made abroad.”
Group B: … products made abroad will be more successful than products made in Japan.”
