2024-03-11 The Ahsohka and Obi Wan Kenobi Series

I am a huge fan of Star Wars and love the Star Wars universe and how it continues to grow. The latest series the Ahsoka series season 1 was an amazing show. Ahsoka Tano who was a Jedi Padawan, or student of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, left the Jedi in Star Wars "The Clones Wars" animated series. Ahoska has made cameos (special appearances) in the Star Wars animated series "Star Wars Rebels" and had a small story about her in the "Tales of the Jedi" animated series.

This series on Disney+ series brings the nostalgic (sentimental) memories of the Clones Wars training where she learned a lot from Anakin Skywalker, before his turn to the dark side and becoming Darth Vader. One of my favorite characters Sabine Wren is learning to use the Force and is a cool Mandalorian warrior, I honestly love her as a character. She and Ahsoka argue over how Ahsoka is not training Sabine properly. One of my favorite scenes is when Ahsoka is in the world between worlds realm. She meets Anakin, now a Force ghost is giving Ahsoska one last lesson and taking her through her and his past together. I love the use of the old Clone Wars scenes and even how Anakin changes between him and Vader as he heads into battle,

This series has a return of Ezra Bridger makes his great return to Ahoska and Sabine, Please check out the animated series "Star Wars Rebels" before watching this series. We also see Grand Admiral Thrawn return as well. This series is a great and in the words of Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi, "your first steps into the adventures of Ahsoka and Sabine.

The second series is the "Obi Wan Kenobi" series. It stars my favorite actor Ewan McGregor as the iconic role of Obi Wan Kenobi. This series shows the toll the Cone Wars as well as losing Anakin to the dark side took on Obi Wan Kenobi. Please watch Star Wars "Revenge of the Sith" before watching this series. Obi Wan is in hiding and protecting Luke Skywalker, but when he is called to rescue a kidnapped Princess Leia Organa, Obi Wan jumps to action and goes after her.

He [Obi Wan] and Leia are on an  adventure trying to get her [Leia] home. Darth Vader makes an appearance in this series and we see one of the best fight scenes between Obi Wan and Vader since the "Revenge of the Sith" film. It is sad how Obi Wan blames himself for Anakin's fall to the dark side. We see that Obi Wan has gotten his strength back in the Force and helps slow Vader down. 

We see Obi Wan's determination to help protect Luke and now Leia so that they grow older to help the Empire fall and the Republic to rise again. And we will see that happen in the original Star Wars trilogy. If you haven't seen those three movies please do.

Both the "Ahoska" and "Obi Wan Kenobi" series are a great must see and I can't wait for the release of "Ahsoka" season 2 and hopefully a second season of "Obi Wan Kenobi" If you want to see some great stories in the Star Wars universe, please watch these shows.
